Ten Thousand Centimeter Grid Chart
This large 42" x 40" laminated chart shows 10,000 centimeter squares separated by bold lines into ten vertical columns of 1,000 squares each. Once students have an understanding that one hundred can be perceived as a single entity (unitizing), use the 10,000 chart to further enhance number pattern skills. Without counting, students can visualize the chart at a glance and quickly determine the number in a random square. Chart helps students generalize their understanding of numbers and patterns to 10,000 and the relative size of numbers in each place. Great for recognizing how 10, 100, 1,000 and 10,000 are related to each other.
